Albion Vale Picnic – Oratia

Kick off 2018 in style at the Oratia New Year’s Day community picnic – brought to you by the ORRA, the OHS and the Harre family. We are indebted to Dave and Barbara Harré for letting us revive this traditional Oratia gathering in their beautiful garden behind the folk museum.
Please bring a picnic (the pizza oven will be pumping if you want to bring pizzas to cook), a rug, and a piece of firewood for the steam engine. Musicians we’d love you to bring your instruments.
CALL FOR HELP: We’re looking for someone to organise some simple outdoor games for the children – things like egg and spoon races, three-legged races and sack races.
